Who is the victim, of our happiness? The winners and losers, in a global race. A race to the bottom, a race to the top. When will it all end, how do we say stop? A pawn of the system, the system of lies, a place where you stick needles in your eyes. To remain ever young & never get old. But emptyness is gained when your happiness is sold. They say there’s no evil men pullin them strings. Poverty and misery’s just the way of things. There ain’t no alternative, no easy way out. Brainwashed servants, make me wanna shout! Who is the victim, of our happiness? Our pointless consumption, your dollar a day. Globalised and advertised, to fuel our greed, to create and maintain, constructed needs. Because god forbid if we find our own way, through the selling of religion, you make us pray For an alternative to us playing this mime, of capitalist greed, another global crime. We got to get over propaganda and lies Or live our whole lives in a system we despise

Celebrations of a law, that did not change that much at all. Remembering moral’victories, but still no one can say they're - sorry. When was sorry needed more, than for centuries of slavery. Savage exploitation, an animal’s greed, our money-happiness has made you bleed. You and me we’ve all got blood, blood on these white hands of ours. Blood that goes back centuries, centuries of red-stained tears. But now we’re happy, now you’re free with curable disease and HIV. Now we’re equal, we don’t feel guilty, now you can work as a commodity. In sweatshop labour, you'll bear the cost, love thy neighbour, you fear the most. Now we wear that white band round our wrist as if there's not much more to this? Tears of pain and tears of fear, fear tomorrow is not near. So near to life, so near to death, the death of millions every year.

Slow Down 02:39
It seems like yesterday, that we were drinking out of a jug. It seems like yesterday, that we so wanted to grow up. Just live for today, 'cos life's too short to think about tomorrow. Don't think of the future, so soon it becomes the past. This life waits for no man, one more year in a second. It seems like its no time at all, when so much has just happened. It seems like yesterday, so don’t neglect today like so many of us. It seems like yesterday, when your time has come don’t forget your past. Just live for today, 'cos life's too short to think about tomorrow. Don't think of the future, so soon it becomes the past. So you have to grasp on, while you can still reach it. Years become yesterdays, now gone and forgotten. I need to slow down and take a moment to reflect. Just a breath of fresh air for the future of our existence. I need to step back and take stock of what I’m doing. I need to hold on before I fall right off the map.

So far from sleep, staring at imagined stars, where minds fall to despair. It's a soulless starless world...(with no one here) Well no one here that cares, where weak accept defeat, life with victories of evil over good. Life just like a star of hope about to shoot and then there's hope no more...But necessity comes before invention so we should still have hope once more. And so it goes, so easy to give up, and bow down to this world. So many years exploited...(and fought for justice) With flowers, feet and guns, the desire to live in a different time, a time that's not of our own. When the people stood up and dared to be counted, they fought for what was right. A need to unite to change this world and take responsibility... Just blame it on the men in suits, the men without a soul. Just blame it on the CEOs, the Presidents and Kings. Just blame it on the media and corrupt journalists. Just blame it on the corporations, capitalists and cheats. Just blame it on anyone who doesn't stare you in the mirror and says you are the only one who must stand up for what is right.
